After reading our previous blog some of you may be questioning why I would be so willing to believe any politician’s claim about his spirituality. And when that somebody is Trump, whose reputation hardly falls in the ‘boy scout’ category, I can’t blame you. But before accusing me of being extraordinarily gullible, know that a lot of research went into my claims about Trump and his belief in God. Clearly no one can ever know what another person truly believes in their heart. All you can ever do in evaluating someone -especially someone you do not know- is research as much public information as possible, to put together a narrative that most closely knits together what you discover. More specifically, in this case, the critical question is whether the public record suggests we have a spiritual president who wants to create a cooperative world or someone who will say anything to get a few more votes.
Big picture is that Trump has arguably been the most investigated president in our history. Given that he stands as a strong opponent to the Deep State, it is likely millions, perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent trying to tar the man with horrid misdeeds. Suffice it to say he has never been convicted of a criminal act. More telling is that throughout his presidency he was constantly accused of being cahoots with the Russians. Claims that he was a Russian spy were rampant. Recent evidence strongly suggest that those claims were fraudulent and were it not for the statute of limitations, a number of individuals would be facing perjury charges. Perjury is a criminal offense. I see no evidence that Trump ever lied with his hand on the bible, but plenty that his adversaries did.
Reading through the biographies of various individuals who have been close to Trump there was one comment that stood out. Trump’s second wife Marla Maples is known to have said that the 1993 Long Island Rail Road shooting on December 7, caused Trump to reevaluate his life and propose to her. It is not unusual to regret the loss of innocent lives. But there is something sacred when that loss leads you to a major reevaluation of your own life.
When I was researching Trump, a good friend of mine directed me to a book written Sheldon Roth, a leading psychoanalyst, and professor at the Harvard Medical School. Roth’s 2019 book: “Psychologically Sound: The Mind of Donald Trump” makes a compelling case in justifying the book’s title. One thing that really struck me was the profound influence that Norman Vincent Peale had on Trump. Given Peale’s emphasis on spirituality, and the effect he likely had on Trump’s ideology, it is very difficult to cast Trump as some sort of opportunistic and racist con-man. I have come to believe that the case suggesting Trump is one of our most spiritual presidents is extremely sound.
On March 4, 2025, during a televised address to a joint session of Congress Trump talked openly about his belief in God. He made at least 4 references to a higher power. Perhaps the one that stands out most is when talking of his surviving an assassination attempt. He said “I believe that my life was saved that day in Butler for a very good reason. I was saved by God to Make America Great Again — I believe that. I do. Thank you. Thank you very much.” At this year’s National Prayer Breakfast, the president, again drawing upon his near assassination, urged Americans to “bring God back” into their lives. Those three quoted words strongly suggest that Trump is aware that spirituality has been missing in American culture. The President’s spirituality was also apparent in a Newsweek report that Trump had referred to the Declaration of Independence as a “declaration of unity and love and respect.” This description could also apply to the UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights), which we referred to in our previous blog. Again, we emphasize that the declaration was signed by both China and the United States, among 46 other countries demonstrates Trump’s dedication to peace and prosperity.
Trump Leads America In Cooperation Over Confrontation
Trump’s spirituality goes hand in hand with a belief in cooperation over confrontation. Perhaps because of Trump’s emphasis on religion and spirituality and maybe independent of it, it is encouraging that the leaders of both China and Russia seem very willing to talk to Trump. Not reported in the American media but noted in various international news sources is that William Lai Ching-te, the current president of Taiwan, who strongly opposes a one China policy, was denied permission to land in New York on a planned visit to Latin America. Not extending a simple courtesy to a politician vehemently opposed to China is a strong suggestion that Trump, himself, is not bent on confronting China. Indeed, I believe his natural proclivity is to find ways of mutually beneficial relationships with both China and Russia. Also very encouraging is that both Xi and Putin have expressed a strong interest in face-to-face conversations with Trump.
There is little doubt that these encouraging signs are reasons to believe that odds on our first and most important prediction in the previous blog have shortened. But, unfortunately, Trump’s feelings about cooperation are probably not enough to avoid a great power collision. One major reason is the limited power that an American president has. On the surface it may appear that Trump has a great deal of power. But in reality, it is the Deep State – that corrupt conglomeration of intelligence agencies and corporate chieftains that have the tools to keep even a charismatic president easily in check. In addition to tremendous amounts of money, which plays a major role in controlling information and spewing propaganda, this group also has the ability to create events that give them leverage over even the most powerful elected officials.
The sickening story surrounding Jeffery Epstein is just one example of this. The so-called Epstein files have proved to be a means of tarring just about anyone who knew Epstein with utterly heinous crimes. These crimes are detestable and those who committed them should be brought to justice, but only with sufficient evidence. Epstein knew a lot of people, of which the vast majority are no doubt horrified by the activities of one-time late acquaintance. We strongly believe that President Trump had nothing to do with the nefarious actions associated with Epstein. Grand jury testimony that was the basis for indicting Epstein include only testimonies from two law enforcement officers, of which no prominent person is implicated as acting in concert with Epstein. But hints remain that there is an Epstein file held by intelligence agencies that contain much more information than what is publicly available. What can even the most powerful do against people that make up and disseminate information so damning?
I can only say that I have researched the Epstein matter as thoroughly as I could and have come away disgusted not just by the crimes that Epstein committed but by how the alternative media – in this case YouTube – tries to tar and feather Trump alongside him. I wanted of focus on those that were viciously anti-Trump. Their case for Trump’s involvement with Epstein’s crimes ranged from utterly ludicrous to laughable. One video offered a great deal of vitriol without a shred of hard evidence. Wait, I take that back. He did have evidence that it was Epstein that severed the relationship with Trump on grounds that Trump was too corrupt even for Epstein; the evidence referenced was merely comments made by Epstein’s brother. A second video discussing prominent individuals associated with Epstein had the late physicist Stephen Hawking, on his list. Hawking was totally paralyzed – indeed paralyzed to the extent that he needed a computer interface to vocalize his thoughts. It might just be me, but I have a lot of trouble seeing Hawking getting on a plane to fly to an island in order to have sex with underage women. What this accusation signals is that we are desperate need of an alt-alt media.
Trump’s Battle For America Against The Deep State
What we don’t get is that at least some within the Deep State know very well, when it comes to inflicting real and lasting harm that they are easily beaten by those that hold the tools capable of shutting them down. And here we are talking about military tools like hypersonic missiles and hacking tools – tools that make our defenses look like porous lace curtains and our most secret phone calls like microphone announcements blasted to thousands in closed area. We are talking about offensive weaponry which has made a mockery out of Western weapons in Ukraine that made the full panoply of Western defense shields look like forts built by third graders. We are talking about cyber tools as of two or three years ago, that could shut down critical infrastructure. It is nearly certain major advances have been made over the past three years. As we suggested in a previous blog there is a credible case these tools could destroy the cloud architecture that is foundational for our critical technologies.
What kind of stupidity gives these people gives these people reason to believe they can take on and beat an enemy so much better armed than they are? This kind: In an online survey conducted by the well-respected YouGov, among a broad collection of American men about 6% said they believed they could beat a grizzly bear in one-to-one combat. A slightly larger number 8% said they would be victorious over a lion, elephant, and gorilla. We have no way of ascertaining the overlap between the survey results and those that play critical roles in the Deep State, but can say there is something sick, something outright maniacal in a significant chunk of America. Trump’s greatest sins are no more than peccadillos compared to the evil and corruption that defines real power in America.
If we are even partially right, then Trump’s enemies are crazy and likely unfazed by the prospect of total annihilation. One possible path that was not obvious to me even a month ago would be visible actions by China and/or Russia with severe but not catastrophic consequences on America’s infrastructure. A hack that shuts down the stock exchange would be a possible example. Another would be to use the Oreshnik missile as a means of quickly ending the war in Ukraine. Exhibiting the power of a conventionally armed Oreshnik would exhibit the missile’s ability to destroy most NATO airbases in a very short period of time and perhaps point to the necessity of cooperation with the West. Such actions would be very provocative and given the posture of the hidden managers of U.S. policies could provoke a cry for a retaliatory response – perhaps even a first strike nuclear response. But here is where a spiritual Trump could play a role. While this is all very speculative it’s possible Trump might tell the opposing powers that the U.S. will not engage in a nuclear first response to a non-nuclear attack.
Summing up, the world is moving quickly to major crisis. It appears inevitable that perhaps in as few as three or so months we could be at a crisis point. The consequences of following a cooperative path could lead to a rebirth of a great America. Taking an alternative path could prove catastrophic. We think the odds on a cooperative path, while still long – indeed far too long for comfort have– if our reading of President Trump is correct, have shortened. Let’s pray for the best.
